Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Equator Experiment-Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park-Boat cruise
After having your early morning breakfast, you will start your 5 Days Explore Uganda Safari with a stopover at the Uganda Equator. While here, you will enjoy the different equatorial experiments, photograph as well as a have bath room break. Later, you will continue with your journey to Lake Mburo National Park and upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for lunch as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise. As a matter of fact, the park has the highest concentration of zebras and it is the only park In Uganda that harbors Impalas. While at the boat, you will look out for aquatic wildlife like the crocodiles, hippos as well as the different water bird species. Later head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive-Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Boat cruise
In the morning after breakfast, check out of the lodge and go for a morning game drive in search for the different mammal species. Animals to spot here include; zebras, impalas, elands, waterbucks, bushbucks, etc and afterwards exit the park and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park has got over 100 mammal and over 600 bird species hence making it a superb safari territory. You will get to the park just in time for lunch, check into your booked lodge and later go for an evening game drive. The boat cruise will take you to Kazinga channel which is a narrow neck of water that connects Lake George and Edward. While here, you will have excellent photographic opportunities for waterside birds, abundant hippopotamus, huge families of buffalos as well as elephants at the banks of the Lake. Later, head back to the lodge for dinner, fire camp and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning game drive-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
On this day, you will have an early morning breakfast and later go for an early morning game drive to look for the early risers as they go out in search for food. During this activity, watch out for different animals like the lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, spotted hyenas, not to mention but a few. Later, head back to the lodge, check out and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Upon arrival, check in your booked lodge as you prepare for next day’s memorable experience.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking-Batwa cultural experience
You will have your early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing and later hit the forest in search for the mountain gorillas. With the guidance of an armed ranger, you will hike into the forest looking out for the assigned gorilla family. Upon locating them, you will be given 1 hour in their presence as you enjoy their daily activities as well as taking photos and videos for memories to take back home. Afterwards, head back to the lodge for lunch and a power nap as you prepare for another evening activity. During your evening activity, you will enjoy the batwa culture as they take you through their daily activities, folktales as well as dances. The batwa were basically the first people to live in the forest in harmony. Later, they were evicted out of the park in order to reserve it for wildlife. Here, feel free to engage in their dances, take photos and videos and some souvenirs to take back home for remembrance.

Day 5: Travel back to Kampala/Entebbe
You will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and start on your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and later continue with your journey, arriving late evening direct to your lodge or to catch up with your flight back home.
